Popeye Statue-

Built as a whimsical salute to the enormous local area's spinach crops. This humorous statue depicts the famous cartoon sailor man; created by the Fleischer brothers in the late 1930's. Cartoons were originally made for adults as a fun opener for motion pictures. a favorite spot for snapshots with children; located at the downtown city square.
