Complete Book & Media Supply needed a site that could compete in the on-line media sales arena. With especially stiff competition, the site needed to be very feature rich and easy to use. Site management capabilities were required to allow Complete Book to modify the site look and feel, pricing, checkout, featured products and many other site features based on their fortune 500 clients' requirements to present a fully customized site for each client company

Requirements:

• Multi-tenant solution with per-client subdomains.
• Lightning-fast, complex search capabilities on a 4 million+ product database.
• Enterprise-level e-commerce with multi-shipment support.
• SAP/Oracle and iProcurement/Ariba integration
• Extensive per-client customization (graphics, prices, checkout, featured products, etc.)

Our software solution utilizes the latest versions of Ruby on Rails, MongoDB for the database, and Solr (an ultra-fast Lucene-based search engine). The site integrates seamlessly with Ariba and Oracle iProcurement cXML procurement management systems as well as SAP OCI interfaces.

The front-end is built with cutting-edge HTML 5 with backward-compatability for older browsers, CSS 3, advanced Javascript, and Highcharts graphs that provide sharp, animated graphs for every device without the use of Flash.

iReach is an open source web-based application developed in Ruby on Rails providing a platform to create and manage html email campaigns. Some uses include newsletters, advertising campaigns, product notifications, and press releases. The application provides an interface for email templates and elements created by html designers, to be utilized by non-technical staff to create and manage email notifications utilizing a simple wysiwyg tool, mailing lists, contacts, and mailing schedules.
